STATION TWO - SPONGE SQUEEZE
1. Skill/Content and Objective - Determine volume.
2. Materials - Sponge, bucket of colored water, and 500ml beaker or measuring cup
3. Activity Description -
a. Students saturate a sponge with colored water in a bucket and squeeze as much water as they can out of the sponge into a beaker.
b.They are to estimate and then measure the water to the nearest milliliter.
4. Differentiation - Change measurement units to US Customary.
